Mechtronix Environment Inc. (MEI) is a subsidiary of Mechtronix World Corp. (MWC), an expert in the engineering, manufacturing and deployment of industrial scale technology based solutions since 1987.

MEI was founded in 2006 in order to develop and commercialize a cleantech sludge and digestate management system known as Valoris™. It is a proven technology, thanks to 20 years of research and development, and successful implementation in the agricultural, industrial and municipal sectors.

This Cleantech sludge management system is based on recognized thermodynamic principles that economically transform sludge into a value added output and clean water (even treatment option) that can be released in the natural environment without any further treatment.

Currently, starting operation in Alberta, Valoris™ offers an economical and profitable solution to its users. The whole system consumes less than 150 kWh of energy based on scrupulous thermal recuperation through the mechanical recompression of the vapors generated during the drying process. The system's operational costs are much lower than those associated with numerous sludge disposition alternatives such as composting, land filling or incineration.

In addition to its economical performances, the Valoris™ system offers major environmental benefits as for example a significant decrease of GHG emissions. Custom designed sanitary devices trap and clean both solid and liquid out-coming elements. Therefore, Valoris™ allows sludge generators to operate while they totally respect the quality of life of the surrounding populations.
